I have had the prologic package for several years. The service was good to start but it is getting very sluggish as of late. I talked to the tech guy and he said there are 800 websites sharing this hosting server! That is way too much. I am noticing considerable performance decreases. I am switching to a new host soon after researching a little more to make sure i get what i want.

one more story, i recently had a tech support person tell me to delete a database which turned out to be a MAIN database and completely destroyed my website. I had to re-install and start from scratch. Never trust startlogic tech support and always ask questions as to what they are doing and why. ALWAYS back up your data, don't trust that know what they are doing. It was a hard lesson i had to learn. On a positive note, they are reasonably fast getting on the phone.

Things to consider....

1.How many websites does your server serve?
2.Are all the server side software up to date?
3. How fast is tech support?
4. What are the machine specs your site will be on.

Research and talk to them.<p class='reviewerrating'>Reviewer Rating: 4
